Using an automatic float, the Davey D53A/B pump detects when water is available. Primarily used with rainwater tanks, it’s also used for lawn and garden irrigation, treated effluent disposal and water transfer from wells.

• Multi-purpose Vortex Pump – 0.75kW, single phase with automatic float switch
• Suitable for pumping clean water or grey water containing some small, soft solids
• The vortex, open impeller design is less susceptible to blockages

With an open impeller, vortex, centrifugal design, the general purpose vortex sump pumps are less susceptible to blockages of the pump or pipework. A 304SS grade steel for the shaft, motor shell and fasteners ensure a long service life.

A Davey all-rounder, the General Purpose Dewatering Pumps are designed to pump or move rainwater, surface water or storm water effectively. Suitable applications include dewatering of cellars, garages, ditches, pits and ponds, sump emptying, and/or decorative water features.
